We were meeting together to go on a big preparation-day activity. Bishop Green was there, and Brother Mitchell, along with several other members, and they all had their RVs. Brother Cooper kept backing up his RV really fast trying to get it ready. I ended up outside when they started, and I started walking through town with another Elder who was riding his bike. We went through a big tunnel-like place, where there was a parade going on. We passed a bunch of Safeway employees marching in the parade, and one of the girls in a grey polo shirt looked at us and, thinking we were something other than missionaries, said, "Hey, I want some candy." I looked at her and said, "Hey, me too!" and we kept walking. We passed some cheerleaders going the wrong way, and then we came out of the other side. We were looking for all the RVs,because I wanted to go on the activity (whatever it was). The Elder I was walking with was really apathetic and he didn't care about anything. We were at a junction in the desert, and we started down the road to Fallon, NV, hoping to see them in the distance. When we didn't, I assumed they hadn't gotten that far yet, (they had to go around the tunnel) so we started back.
