We had been invited to a huge concert/get-together in the Event Center (in Casper, WY) but it was actually in Las Vegas. We had just gotten a bunch of supplies, and I was sorting them and checking out the new pass-along cards. There were some about Family Home Evening, (I gave one to Brother Lee) and some about other churches, as well as a bunch about how great dads are. We had to be at the get-together at 6:45p so the mission president could give us tickets, but Elder Adams had put in a movie with Natalie Wood in it, and we didn't turn it off until 6:46. I told him "that's why missionaries can't watch movies!" Elder Turner & his companion showed up, and my Dad was going to drive us all there. (My younger sisters were coming too.) I was wearing shorts, but decided to put on pants because Elder Turner said it was cold out. I came back out to the van, but I had forgotten my shoes. I went back in, got them, and we finally left at 7:00p.
